BIOGRAPHY
For Tracee Gentry Matthews painting has always been a way of life. She has been creating art since childhood. After the birth of her daughter in the year 2000 and a Bachelor of Science degree, she became a full-time artist. Tracee is very passionate about her work.
Tracee’s paintings are energized-even pulsating. Her paintings of city skylines and still-lifes have rapidly captured the favor of discriminating collectors across the United States.
Whether it be a small painting, a large canvas or mural, you will find Tracee’s work perfectly complimenting the homes, offices and commercial buildings they are increasingly found in, whatever the setting , style or period.
Tracee is able to capture the beauty of life in all of her works. Her style is unique and seems to captivate the viewer with all of the senses.

We are so overwhelmed and happy. I look at the painting every few minutes and I have already taken countless pictures.
I wish I could have afforded the bigger one - to display on the large wall in the living room. That just means I will have to hurry and save up for the San Diego painting.

Years ago there was a song about an "Overnight Success " who worked in the shadows for many many years and did without and yet persisted and became a success...and all the press and the people who did not know better called her an "overnight success"... And she just laughed and worked all the harder.

Just wanted to drop you a quick line and let you and Pat know that Kimberly and I purchased our first Pat Matthews painting this weekend while we were in Beaver Creek. We are moving back to Little Rock from Boulder, CO in August and think it is going to make the perfect addition to our Tracee Matthews paintings as the focal points of our new home.

Thank you for the beautiful Cross painting. It is on the wall in my living room where all can see. The colors are so vibrant. I'm not sure how you did it, but it seems to be a three dimension piece. Also, each time I see it I still find something new. You are an amazing artist. I want another one soon.

My name is Teresa Clow, my husband Reggie and I are the proud owners of three of Tracee Gentry's paintings.
She has done a custom wine painting for us which includes some of our personal wine bottles. When we started making our own wine and designing our own wine labels we knew we had to have a Wine Painting by Tracee. We met with Tracee and showed her our wine collection, and shared with her our interests in wine and the design of our new home. We showed her the house plan and the wall where we wanted to feature the artwork. Tracee took some of our favorite bottles of wine and designed this custom wine painting. Everyone who comes to our home talks about the colors and how she was able to capture the colors in our home and utilize them with our personalities in the painting to make a wonderful custom Wine painting.
We have long admired all the custom Santa paintings that Tracee does, again we shared with her our desire to have our own personal Santa for the holidays to share with family and friends while entertaining. He sits proudly on our mantle during the holiday season. We had Tracee come over and assist in our home decorating for the holiday's so she could see the colors that we used in our home and the style of Santa we liked. The result was this wonderful custom Santa holding a bag of holiday boxes. We love him!
Our third painting is something that was designed for a specific wall in our kitchen. We wanted something that would blend with the color we picked for our kitchen walls, but would also be a focal point when entering on a small wall. Our Kitchen has 10 foot ceilings so we wanted it to be long and colorful. Again she was right on with the Tabasco Painting. The yellow in the wall paint and the yellow on the painting makes the artwork POP when you look at it.
We are big fans of Tracee Gentry, she has a number of talents when it comes to art, decorating and design. The thing I love most is her ability to visit with you and take your visions and turn them into your own personal art designs that are like no others. If you ever have a chance to watch Tracee paint live it is amazing the talent that she pours into every piece of art she does.

My wife and I had seen Tracee's work in several places, (Cheers In The Heights, friends homes, etc.) and were always drawn to the colors and fun themes. We finally got to meet Tracee and watched her work on a piece at the annual Festival of Wines. We finally pulled the trigger and had her paint us a cross and were thrilled with the outcome. So thrilled that I had Tracee paint us one of her famous Santas for my wife's birthday. Just wanted to let you know how much I have enjoyed your painting. I purchased it several years ago and it has graced several rooms in my house (I change things around constantly)! After all this time I still love to stare at it .. all the different paint strokes and different colors .. I always see something I didn't see before! I get lots of compliments on it too ...

My husband and I own Equestria Restaurant in Memphis, TN. Tracee was generous enough to display a large series of her wine paintings in our restaurant for several years.
Actually, it was our only wall décor at the time and the restaurant has never looked as good.
Many paintings were sold and many of our customers became very satisfied customers for Tracee, but everyone who dined with us commented on Tracee's paintings. The vibrant colors and unique use of texture coupled with a light sense of whimsy always provoked attention and comment. Everyone loved her work, as I do. My close friends and I all own a piece of Tracee's work and it is much treasured. Thank you Tracee for putting your beautiful and colorful view of your world on canvas for all of us to enjoy.
